Liebster Blog Award

Hello everyone. Today I have new Blog award post for you all. So this award is basically for new blogs and new bloggers. I remember that I wanted to do this when I first started with my blog, I got two nominations. But, at that time I didn’t do blog awards (I know, it’s pretty bad). But I changed my mind on blog award posts, now I’m actually enjoying them a lot. I already did few of these, I will link them down in case you want to read them and see what those posts are all about. I got two nominations for this award from Life is as easy as… blog and Welcome Home blog. I also receive another nomination from Simple Little Things XX blog. Today I got another nomination for this award from Jessica MacLafferty, thank you all so much. You guys need to check these blogs out, because I have been enjoying their content a lot lately. So because I receive so many nominations, it’s time to do this post. I have a bunch of questions to answer, so I’m just going to start with this blog award post (sorry for the long intro)! Also, it’s going to be pretty long post, so make sure you are comfortable and secured with snacks, heh.

Questions from Life is as easy as… blog

1. Why did you start your blog?
I always wanted to have my own blog about beauty and fashion. I started it because a lot of girls would ask me about my makeup and clothing I wear. So I realized that I need to have a place where I can share all of those with people who have same interests.
2. What’s your favorite social media app and why?
Instagram. To be honest I didn’t like it at first, but I made it because of my blog. When I first made it I was obsessed. I still love it, it’s great for inspiration and creativity. Btw, if you want to check my instagram and maybe follow me (I follow back, don’t worry), it’s simpleserenityazra.
3. Zoella or Tanya Burr makeup and why?
I actually didn’t try any of those, because they are pretty hard to get. I tried ordering online, they don’t ship to Bosnia, it’s just a mess. Usually it is really hard to order to Bosnia, so many things you have to do and no one actually ships here, story of my freaking life! But, if I can try one, I would try Tanya Burr makeup. So many things look nice, especially lip glosses and face palettes.
4. Do you like cherry coke?
First I did’t know what is that, but thank God for google. It looks freaking amazing, but I never tried it. We don’t have it here sadly, but I need to try it soon. To be honest I’m not the biggest fan of coke, I only like it in combination with rum, yeap Cuba Libre cocktail. But, I wouldn’t say no to cherry coke.
5. What did you have for dinner last night or what are you going to have tonight ??
I had poached eggs on toast. That’s one of my favorite quick, healthy dinner. Last night I had green salad with feta cheese and salmon.

1. What do you love most about blogging?
I love community the most. There is so many amazing people that I chat with through blog posts. It’s so great to share same interests and opinion with others. Sometimes it’s really hard to manage personal life and blog, it takes a lot of time. But, when people truly enjoy my content that makes me super happy and proud.
2. What is currently your favorite make up item?
Currently my favorite makeup item is Essence XXXL lip gloss in shade Big night out. You can see how it looks here. I wear it every single day literally. I’ll have review on it soon, so stay tuned for that.
3. What is your favorite hobbies what do you love about it?
I love dancing, I wouldn’t call it hobby, but it’s something I like a lot. Also, blogging is some kind of hobby for me. It’s not my job or anything like that, so it’s like my hobby. I love taking pictures, but unfortunately I don’t have a lot of free time for it. It’s something I would definitely want to make a hobby. Also, reading books, quite standard but I love it.
4. What is your one favorite photo that you have ever taken? (Add photo)
Honestly I don’t really know what is my ultimate favorite photo I ever taken. But I really like this one I took couple of days ago, I don’t know why, it’s super basic and simple. I find is super simply pretty I guess.

5. Which book do you think everyone should read?
I’m going to be super boring, but I think classic literature books like Umberto Eco – The name of the Rose, Victor Hugo – The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Charles Dickens – Oliver Twist and so many others. I feel like it is really important to read those classics, because you can learn so much from them and also it’s basic culture to read those books.

Questions from Simple Little Things XX blog

1. Do you have a favorite holiday you went on as a child?
I would just say going to see side with my brother and parents. We would usually spend 2 weeks in really quiet little see side place and I loved every second of it.
2. Do you have any ideas for your blog in the future?
To be honest I really don’t. I would love it to be helpful and entertaining to people who read. Also, I want to make it a lot more personal with more posts like this one and Tags.
3. What is your go-to way to relax?
My favorite super chilled day is Sunday. Usually I spend Sundays wearing pajama all day, eating my favorite food, watching yt videos and reading blogs. I do some work and planning for weak ahead, but nothing major, because Sunday is my ultimate chilled day. I love to really pamper my skin, so I would have a face mask on, do extreme skin care routine, using a lot of products.
4. Do you have a favorite song that makes you cry?

5. What is one product you couldn’t live without?
I would say coconut oil, because you can use it for everything literally. But, if I have to choose a makeup product I can’t live without that’s bronzer or highlighter, I can’t have makeup routine without those, I tried, it just doesn’t happen.

Questions from Jessica MacLafferty

1. Tell us something that you find oddly satisfying.
Watching yt videos when people talk about products that they dislike. I don’t know why but for me those are so enjoyable, even though they are pretty negative. I feel like they are super honest and you can really learn something from them.
2. What is your least favorite makeup product category?
Eyebrow stuff. I find it boring and just annoying to do. Luckily I have super thick and hairy eyebrows, so I need maybe a minute to do them. Sometimes I don’t even do my eyebrows, because they already look done.
3. If you weren’t blogging, what would you do with the extra time?
I would read a lot more than I do now. It’s sometimes so hard to find time for everything you want to do, but when I finish my University, I’ll have a lot more time for all the enjoyable things I want to do.
4. What are your favorite stores for clothes/beauty/e.t.c.?
My favorite clothing store is probably Mango, it’s just the best. Quality and style of their clothes is just right for me. Other favorites are: Bershka, Zara and S’Oliver.
5. What are your favorite 5  beauty products $10 and under?
Catrice camouflage cream, Loreal Miss Manga Mascara, Catrice Sun Glow Mat bronzer, Garnier BB cream and Essence Shine and Color lipsticks.
6. Yes or no: acrylic nails
Big NO. I had them once and they destroyed my nails so badly. Also I hate how they look, I hate that fake, unnatural look. I prefer to have my nails, natural, a little long with some clear nail polish. It looks simple, pretty and very classy.
7. Would you ever dye your hair a crazy color? What would it be?
I had my hair dyed purple when I was in high school. It looked pretty cool in my opinion. Also, I had it like strawberry blonde or orange at one point, I had some crazy colors. If you want to see blog post about my hair journey, let me know and I can do it. It would be pretty fun to read I think. Right now I wouldn’t do any crazy color though, I prefer balayage hair now.
8. If you could only choose one piece of makeup, what would it be/ (name product)
OMG, probably one of the hardest questions, but I have to go with bronzer or highlighter. Actually I would say highlighter, I love glow. It makes everything better, my ultimate favorite is Essence Soo Glow cream to powder highlighter.
9. Are you team Kylie or team Colourpop?
Didn’t try any to be honest. But I would choose Colourpop, because it is cheaper and probably the same thing. Also, when you are buying Kylie stuff you are basically paying her name, that’s it.
10. Do you get so stuffed on Thanksgiving that you have to lay on the couch for 3 hours (because you feel bloated/almost dead) until you have enough room for pie?
We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here, but we have some holidays that are similar. I like food and I like to eat a lot of it. So I can totally say that I have that state almost every single day after lunch haha.
