Avon SUN+ Pure and Sensitive SPF 50 Face & Body Review

Hello everyone! Today I’m writing review on spf 50 from Avon. I wanted to try this one just because I need a high spf for summer and I thought that this one is great because it is for face and body. I do mainly use this one on my face, but I did use it several times on my body as well. I like to use it on areas that easily burn, like shoulders, knees and feet and boy is it protecting. No burns, even though I’m a pro at getting them. Let’s start with this review!

So first my opinion on packing, I think it looks really nice and sleek. I like the fact that it comes in box, just because it feels better that way. Also you get a lot of information on this product, so that’s good also. You get 50 ml of product so it’s really travel friendly. So they claim that this one is “very water resistant” and “moisturizing sun lotion”. So let me tell you do I agree on that.

This cream is actually pretty nice. I have to say that I didn’t expect this one to be anything special. But I have to say it is really good spf. It’s not expensive in my opinion, it’s about 11$. This cream has high UVA/UVB protection which is must for summer time. Usually high spf creams are really thick and they leave white residue. Let me tell you this one is great because it is not heavy at all. It blends in skin really nicely, it’s not heavy and sticky. It takes about 3 minutes maximum to absorb into skin. Also it doesn’t leave any white residue which is great because I use this one under the makeup. I didn’t get any sun burns when I used this one, even though my skin easily burns. It smells like regular spf, kinda weird. It’s almost zesty or citrusy which is not bad. The texture is in between thick and light. I can’t say that it is light, but also it’s not thick and hard to blend. I didn’t try is this one water resistant because I’ll go on my holiday in Wednesday, so yeah I can update you on that. But I did sweat a little bit when I used this one and it didn’t break it or anything like that. I did sunbathe with this one on and I usually sweat a lot when I sunbathe and it managed to last through my sweat.

This cream is formulated with DERMA 360˚ technology which basically means it gives you all around protection. I think that it is pretty hard to find good spf, especially because they are usually pretty expensive. This one is actually good price and it works pretty well in my opinion. I have been using it almost every single day since I got it and I really like it. I have to say that this is probably one of the best products that I tried from Avon this year, I’m impressed. Also I have to add that this one didn’t break me out which is amazing and I feel like it didn’t disturb my sensitive skin on face and it didn’t clog my pores. Finally it is indeed moisturizing. I really feel like it moisturize my skin well and makes it really soft.

My final though, this is amazing. I would highly recommend this spf. This is probably one of the first spf for face that I like. Avon completely nailed this one, I really only can say good things about it.

  1. I really need to incorporate more SPF into my skincare & I’ve been looking at one from Murad but it’s so expensive so this definitely sounds like a better option, higher SPF & such a good price! xx

  2. Unfortunately it does, but that’s like a must for affordable products. Even though it has alcohol it doesn’t feel bad on skin, it’s not making it sensitive if that makes sense. xx

  3. I just came back from my holiday and I have to tell ya that I enjoyed this spf so much, my face doesn’t have any burns and it is actually refreshing to use in heat, so I highly recommend it. xx

  4. Nope it doesn’t. It is really light weight under the makeup, it doesn’t look white at all. It is really blendable and easy to wear under the makeup because it doesn’t change the way it looks. xx

  5. I suppose you can, even though I wouldn’t recommend it if you have sensitive skin. Most SPFs for body are really heavy so they can clog your pores and make your face really oily. That’s why having separate SPF for face is better, because they aren’t heavy and they are really protecting. xx
