Essence My must haves palette/Paleta mojih omiljenih sjena za oči

Hello everyone! Today I decided to share with you my new Essence palette that I made long time ago. I’m sure you already heard of this concept that Essence did with their latest collection. I personally think it is really cool and really unlike for drugstore makeup. I picked up 4 eye shadows and I’ll share them with you today. Pozdrav svima! Danas ću sa vama podijeliti moje mišljenje o Essence paletici sjenila koju sam napravila dosta davno. Sigurno ste do sada vidjeli ovaj vrlo unikatni koncept koji je Essence napravio u prošloj kolekciji. Mislim da je ovaj koncept potpuni pogodak, jer ni jedan drogerijski brend to nikada nije uradio. Izabrala sam 4 sjene za oči o kojima ću vam reći nešto više. Već sam recenzirala njihovu rođendansku kolekciju, koja ima isti koncept, možete pročitati recenziju ovdje.

1st shade – C01 Go goldie!
This is really pretty champagne shade with a subtle gold undertone. It looks really pretty as a highlighter also, so it is multi use shadow. It is really glowy and I can say it is really pigmented. It is quite dry, but you can still blend it quite easily.

Ovo je vrlo lijepa šampanjac nijansa sa blijedo zlatnim podtonom. Izgleda vrlo lijepo i kao hajlajter. Vrlo je sjajna i poprilično pigmentovana. Tekstura je dosta suha, ali i dalje možete vrlo lahko izblendati ovu sjenu.

2nd shade – 11 Stay in coral bay
Now this shade dissapointed me a little. I thought it is going to be really glittery, but it only has glitter over spray. So when you take away that you are left with shimmery orange shade that is still really pretty, but I would prefer it to be gliterry. This shade has a lot of gold shimmer in it and some chunks of glitter. It is really soft and buttery, I apply it with wet brush, that’s the best way.

Ova nijansa me je malo razočarala jer nije ono što sam se nadala da će biti. Mislila sam da je ovo vrlo gliterasta nijansa, ali u suštini je obična svjetlucava sjena koja ima gliter sprej preko. Kada uklonite taj sprej što je nakon prvog swatcha ostaje vam svjetlucava naranđasta sjena sa zlatnim šljokicama. Veoma je mekana i lijepo izgleda, nanosim je sa mokrom četkicom jer je tako najbolji rezultat.

3rd shade – 06 Raspberry frosting
The same thing like the previous shade. It has glitter over spray unfortunately. Still this shade is really pretty and it works great for green eyes. It is like mid tone pink with silver shine to it. It is not as soft as previous shade, but still it is easy to work with.

Ova nijansa je poprilično slična prethodnoj. Ima gliter over sprej koji nestaje nakon prvog swatcha. Nijansa koja vam ostaje je srednja roza sa sivim šljokicama. Ovo sjenilo nije toliko mekano kao prethodno, ali i dalje je lahko raditi s njim, lahko se blenda i izgleda vrlo lijepo na očima. Ovakve nijanse su idealne za zelene oči.

4th shade – 03 Miss foxy roxy
This is really pretty chocolate brown shade, it is my usual go to eye shadow. This one is satin finish, it doesn’t have a lot of shimmer in it, but it has a nice glow. Shimmer in it is really nicely mild and it is gold. These shades work great for all eye colors and for any occasion really.

Ovo je vrlo lijepa čokoladna smeđa nijansa. Izgleda vrlo lijepo na očima, ima vrlo fin zlatni sjaj. Ove nijanse odgovaraju svim bojama očiju i idealne su za sve prilike. Ovakvu nijansu morate imati u svojoj kolekciji, jer je apsolutno neophodna.

  3. I love creating palettes with Mac and it is nice that you can get this from drugstore.
    The colours you chose are beautiful and perfect for autumn. I especially like the second shade. It is a shame about the glitter but still looks beautiful. xx

  4. Oh MAC has so many shades to choose from, but they can get pretty expensive. This is such a new concept for drugstore, I was really excited when I saw that Essence did it. I love the second shade also, it looks beautiful on eyes. Without glitter it makes it more wearable though. xx

  5. I love palettes but for now on I’ll buy just single eyeshadows because in palettes I use like 3-4 of 12 shades or something like that. I think for me it’s a waste of money. xx

  20. Plus you choose the colors that you want to have in palette which means you’ll use them every day. I think that every shade is about 2$ and empty palette about 2.5$ which makes it such a steal. xx
