Catrice Light Correcting Serum Primer (Candlelight) review/recenzija

I needed this product in my makeup collection. I mean we all love pretty makeup products on our vanity table. This one just looked stunning and really luxurious so I really wanted to try it. This kind of packing you don’t find at drugstore like ever! I think that Catrice did such an amazing job with packing of this product, it looks so stunning!

Morala sam imati ovaj proizvod u kolekciji. Mislim da svaka žena voli imati lijepe proizvode na stolu za šminkanje. Ovaj proizvod je nešto što se definitivno ne viđa često u drogerijama, jer izgleda vrlo luksuzno. Mislim da je Catrice definitivno napravio ogroman korak naprijed kada se radi o pakiranju njihovih proizvoda, jer je ovo apsolutno savršeno!

So this primer comes in mat glass bottle with rose gold details and pipette. I don’t think that higher end brands use mat glass often, because it is a little bit more expensive, so all praise for Catrice! You get 14 ml of product or 0.47 fl. oz. Obviously you don’t get a lot of product, I think that primers usually come in 30 ml packing. So this is supposed to give you glowy complexion without making your face oily. It is supposed to be really light on skin and you can use it as a primer or on your skin to add a bit of glow.

Prajmer dolazi u mat staklenoj bočici, sa zlatnim detaljima i pipetom. Mislim da dosta skupocjenih brendova ne koristi mat stakleno pakiranje, jer je skuplje za praviti zato mislim da je Catrice napravio izuzetno veliki pomak. Dobijete 14 ml proizvoda što je puno manje nego što inače prajmeri imaju. Mislim da svi prajmeri koje ja imam imaju oko 30 ml. Ovaj serum/prajmer vam treba dati sjaj, biti lagane teksture i ne treba činiti kožu masnom.

As a primer this one has really different formula. It’s not silicone type of primer, but it’s also not a cream. It is really light and it’s almost like water, it just melts into skin. You can apply a lot on skin and still be able to blend it in. I would say this primer is water based, really light and not oily at all. Obviously it has shimmer running through it and it is glowy. Now I agree with statement that this is something like a serum, because how light it is and you can’t feel it on skin. I would prefer this one to be a bit darker, because it gives me that cool toned shine to my skin and I do prefer warmer, because my skin better works with warmer tones. It has mixture of gold and silver shimmer, but on my skin it reflects silver or really light gold.

Ovo nije silikonski prajmer koji popunjava pore. Ne mogu reći ni da je kremast, više je vodenaste teksture. Veoma je lagan i koliko god da stavite koža ga upije. Rekla bih da je baza ovog prajmera vodenasta, jer je veoma lagan i ne čini kožu masnom. U prajmeru se nalazi dosta sitnih šljokica koje čine lice vrlo sjajnim. Definitivno se slažem sa činjenicom da je ovo serum, zato što ga ne osjetite na koži, izuzetno je lagan. Voljela bih da je ovaj prajmer malo tamniji, jer volim taj osunčani efekat. Također na mojoj koži daje sjaj hladnog podtona, što ja ne volim previše. Više sam ljubitelj toplijih tonova jer mi bolje pristaju. 

I would say that this primer is more on the moisturizing side. I don’t think it does anything for pores, it doesn’t fill them up. It contains aloe vera, so it is really mild on skin. Does it make my makeup last longer, I’m not really sure. Whenever it comes to primer making my makeup last longer I don’t know. My makeup usually lasts really well without primer, so I’m never sure in that property when it comes to primer. Still I like how it makes my skin feel, it feels really smooth and it is definitely really glowy.

Rekla bih da je ovaj prajmer više hidratantan nego što popravlja teksturu kože. Definitivno ne popunjava pore. Sadrži aloa veru, zbog toga i jeste vrlo lagan na koži. Da li čini da šminka traje duže, ne znam! Nikada ne mogu odlučiti da li prajmer produžava trajanje šminke, jer moja šminka i bez prajmera traje čitav dan bez problema. Sviđa mi se kako se ponaša na mojoj koži jer čini kožu glatkom i definitivno daje mnogo sjaja!

I think this is a nice primer. I don’t think it is anything revolutionary or something that will completely change your skin. I think it would work really well for mixing in with foundation, I need to try it like that. I think that would be so much better than using this one as a primer because I do feel like this is a nice serum that gives moisture but it’s not heavy or oily.

Mislim da je ovo dobar prajmer. Ne mislim da je nešto što apsolutno morate imati, neće napraviti ogromnu razliku za vašu kožu ili izgled šminke. Mislim da bi lijepo bilo pomiješati podlogu sa ovim serum prajmerom jer bi tako dobili malo sjaja u podlozi i malo hidratacije. Mislim da je ovo lijep serum koji daje hidrataciju, lagan je na koži i ne čini kožu masnom.
