Essence Correct to PERFECT cc concealer palette review/recenzija

Color correction is a trend that I don’t actually do a lot. It’s something that is an extra step for me in my makeup routine and I’m usually really lazy with my makeup. But if I’m doing glam look for special occasion I like to take a little bit of time making my base to be as flawless as possible. For that most of us need color correcting because of redness, dullness or pigmentation. So let’s see did Essence do a good job with this palette!

Kolor korekcija nije nešto što ja često radim. Što se tiče mog svakodnevnog makeup-a vrlo je jednostavan i ne komplikujem previše. Ja mogu biti prilično lijena kada se radi o šminkanju, tako da kolor korekcija predstavlja korak u mojoj rutini koji rijetko radim. Ako želim da mi koža izgleda savršeno za neku specijalu priliku, onda koristim ovakve proizvode.

As most of Essence products packing is cute and simple. It’s cheap plastic, but honestly it looks really nice. You get 4.8 g of product or 0.16 oz. On the back you have ingredients and description of shades and what they are supposed to do. This one is in shade 10 – Nobody is perfect! I don’t know is this the only one that they have. They had one color correcting palette before, but I didn’t try it!

Pakiranje kao i kod ostalih Essence proizvoda je plastično i vrlo jednostavno. Iako je vrlo lagano, ipak lijepo izgleda. Dobijete 4.8 g proizvoda. Na drugoj strani imate opis nijansi i objašnjenje za šta služe i sastav proizvoda. Ne znam da li imaju različite nijanse ovih paleta, ali ova koju ja imam je u nijansi 10 – Nobody is perfect! Imali su prije jednu paletu za kolor korekciju, ali je ja nisam koristila.

You get 4 shades that you can use to color correct your skin. The peachy orangy shade is supposed to color correct darkness under the eyes for lighter skin tones. This is really dark, so I usually mix it with a bit of yellow shade that is supposed to color correct darkness in darker skin tones. I think that these two combined work really well together for me and I like the effect. They definitely color correct nicely and they don’t feel heavy under the eyes. Lavender shade balances sallowness. So I don’t have that problem in my skin, I think that is more with darker skin tones. I don’t really use this purple one, because I don’t know for what I should use it. Green one obviously is for correcting redness that I have a lot of, so I use this one a lot.

Dobijete 4 nijanse u ovoj paleti. Narandžasta nijansa služi za korekciju tamnih plavih tonova ispod očiju. Pošto je ova nijansa prilično tamna ja je pomiješam sa malo žute, koja je namjenjena korekciji tamnih tonova za tamniju kožu. Kombinacije ove dvije boje je apsolutno savršena za mene jer osim što korektuje podočnjake, također i posvjetljuje zbog žute koju koristim. Ljubičasta nijansa se koristi za korekciju žutih tonova. Ja nemam taj problem, mislim da je to više namjenjeno tamnijoj koži. Ja ovu nijansu rijetko koristim, jer ne znam uopšte za šta da je koristim. Naravno zelena se koristi za korekciju crvenila i ovo je nijansa koju ja najviše koristim.

All of these are really creamy and easy to blend. They are really pigmented so a little bit of product goes a long way. Sometimes my redness is really intense so I have to use a lot of green one. The good thing is that it doesn’t look weird on skin, like it doesn’t make texture on skin. I think this is really handy to have in collection. If you are new to color correction then something like this would be amazing because it is affordable, but it does the job. This is really good thing to have because sometimes we all have problematic skin that needs a little bit of work.

Svi ovi korektori su vrlo kremasti i lagani za blendanje. Dosta su pigmentovani i malo proizvoda je dovoljno da prekrijete željeno područje. Nekada ja imam puno crvenila na koži tako da moram koristiti više proizvoda. Ali i tada proizvod nije težak na koži, ne daje dodatnu teksturu koja loše izgleda. Mislim da je ovo dobra paletica i za početnike, jer je lagana za korištenje i nije skupa. Svako treba paleticu za kolor korekciju posebno kada želite da vam koža izgleda besprijekorno.
