December ’19 favorites

Last time I did favorites post is when I talked about my September beauty favorites (here). I took a little bit of a break from favorites post because I mainly used the same products from last favorites posts and also some products that I just tried to use up before they expire. Most of those products weren’t impressing me at all, so they definitely don’t deserve a spot in favorites post. These are my favorites from December, so let’s chat about them.

ARTDECO Rich Treatment foundation (Sunny Shell) – REVIEW
I did full review on this foundation, check it out here. I love this foundation so much, it’s great foundation for daily wear. It has nice medium coverage, it’s very light on skin and it looks so natural, like you are not wearing foundation. Shade is beautiful for my skin tone, I love that it has strong yellow under tone, because it’s always so hard for me to find good yellow toned foundation. I love Artdeco as a brand, it’s such a great quality. It is a bit expensive, but such a lovely brand, I love using their products.

Catrice Liquid Camouflage high coverage concealer (Porcellain) – REVIEW
This is one of my favorite concealers ever. It is such a great daily concealer, very light weight, but full coverage. This is in my opinion the best high coverage drugstore concealer, it is just incredible. I used up three of these already and this one is almost empty, so I need to buy new one soon. I did full review on this concealer, give it a read here. If you never tried this concealer, definitely do because it’s so good.

Essence Prime+ Studio Mattifying + pore minimizing primer with black clay – REVIEW
I did full review on this primer, check it out here. I really enjoyed this primer for past two months, I use it every time I do my makeup and it always makes foundation look amazing. It doesn’t dry out my skin at all, I also feel like this primer is a bit hydrating. It makes my skin really smooth and soft to touch, also primer leaves sticky finish so foundation looks good all day long. This is definitely great drugstore primer, I definitely recommend it.

Balea Aqua crème gel hydrating daily moisturizer
This is such a good light daily moisturizer that makes skin super moisturized and glowy. It’s cream gel, so the texture is super easy to absorb into skin, it leaves beautiful glowy finish so it’s great under makeup. I use this cream in my day and night time skin care routine and it works so well. I love that this one doesn’t make skin oily, but it just hydrates skin deeply. This one is so affordable and I’m sure I’ll buy it again soon, because this one is almost empty. I’ll do review on this one soon, so stay tuned for that.

Avon Nutra Effects Ageless 35+ revitalizing eye cream – REVIEW
I did full review on this eye cream, check it out here. I like to use this cream in my night time skin care routine and I have specific way of using it. I read an article that you are supposed to apply eye cream under brow and make easy “C” motion almost the same as you would apply highlighter to get that natural glow. This cream is pretty strong, so I never apply it close to eyes as it can make my eyes foggy.

Douglas Home Spa Harmony of Ayurveda Indian mango & sweet almond oil protective shower oil
This is such a great product, I feel in love with it from the first use. It is one of those shower products that makes your skin super smooth and soft after shower and you literally don’t need moisturizer afterwards. I always moisturize after shower no matter which product I use to shower with. But this one is so good, it makes your skin feel so good, it smells amazing and it feels so smooth. Douglass is German brand that is similar to Sephora in the way, they sell luxury makeup and beauty products and their own line of products is just amazing, I can’t wait to try more from them. I already bought some products and I can’t wait to try all of them.

The Weeknd – Heartless and Blinding Lights
The Weeknd finally dropped some new music and you already know that I love it. I just love his voice, his personality and obviously his talent. Songs are very catchy and playful, perfect songs to get you moving and doing stuff, so whenever I clean house I play these songs because they make everything better. Totally recommend you to check them out and give them a listen.
