Catrice Instant awake concealer review/recenzija

It’s always interesting to test out new concealer, especially when it comes to affordable drugstore brands. I love Catrice Liquid camouflage concealer (review), it’s one of my all time favorite concealers. So when Catrice comes up with new formula of concealer, I’m here to test it out and share my opinion with you on this blog. In the new spring/summer 2020 collection Catrice brought up Instant awake concealer and today I’ll tell you more about it.

Uvijek je interesantno testirati nove korektore, posebno kada se radi o korektorima koji su prihvatljive cijene iz drogerije. Ja volim Catrice Liquid camouflage korektor (recenzija), to mi je jedan od najdražih korektora, koje sam nekoliko puta ponovo kupila. Pa upravo zbog toga kada Catrice formulira novi korektor, ja sam tu da ga testiram i podijelim moje mišljenje sa Vama na ovom blogu. U novoj proljeće/ljeto 2020 kolekciji Catrice je predstavio novi Instant awake korektor i danas ću Vam reći nešto više o njemu.

Packing of Catrice Instant awake concealer is not my favorite. I’m usually not a fan of these sort of sponge applicator concealers. Sponge that comes on top of this concealer is really soft, so it’s not uncomfortable to apply it, but sponge does soak up a lot of product and you don’t really get a lot of product to begin with. In this packing you get only 1.8 ml of product or net 0.06 fl. oz. In comparison you get 5 ml in Catrice Liquid camouflage concealer (review). This new Catrice concealer is supposed to be hydrating long wear concealer with medium buildable coverage. It is also supposed to reduce fine wrinkles optically. I have this concealer in shade 005 – Neutral light. To my best knowledge this concealer comes in only 3 shades. That’s what I saw in press release, I still haven’t seen this one in stores. Catrice Instant awake concealer is Vegan.

Pakiranje od Catrice Instant awake korektora mi i nije najdraže. Ja inače ne volim korektore koji se nanose preko spužvastog aplikatora. Spužvica koja dolazi na vrhu ovog korektora je vrlo mekana, tako da nije neugodna na delikatnom području ispod očiju. Spužvica upije dosta proizvoda nažalost, što i nije pozitivno, jer u ovom korektoru ne dolazi puno proizvoda. Dobijete samo 1.8 ml proizvoda, a u Catrice Liquid camouflage korektoru (recenzija) dobijete 5 ml proizvoda. Ovaj novi Catrice korektor treba da bude hidratantan sa srednjom prekrivnom moći, koja se može nadograditi. Treba da optički smanji vidljivost borica ispod očiju. Ja imam ovaj korektor u nijansi 005 – Neutral light. Ja mislim da Catrice ima samo tri nijanse u kojima dolazi ovaj korektor. Tako sam vidjela na PR letku, nisam vidjela ovaj korektor još u drogerijama, tako da nisam 100% sigurna. Catrice Instant awake korektor je pogodan za Vegane.

This concealer definitely has positive and negative sides. It is definitely more of a natural concealer. It has light to medium coverage, you can build it up to medium coverage but not to high coverage. In texture concealer is quite light weight, but if you build it up a lot it can definitely feel heavy on under eyes. This is not concealer for spot concealing, in my opinion it doesn’t work well that way. I prefer cream concealers for that as they are usually high coverage and last longer. This one is good under eye concealer that looks nice and last well through day. If you apply too much on under eyes this concealer can look heavy and accentuate lines. As the formula is creamy and not super liquid, you need to set this concealer as soon as possible so it doesn’t crease. In my opinion this is perfect concealer for girl that likes natural, every day simple look, has good skin and not problematic under eyes. Someone who prefers light to medium coverage and likes cream products for that “natural” no makeup, makeup look. Catrice Instant awake concealer is not a bad product, it works well, but I personally prefer doe foot applicator and I find this way of applying concealer a bit time consuming and annoying. You can try this concealer it’s not a bad product, it only depends on your makeup preference.

Ovaj korektor definitivno ima pozitivne i negativne strane. Radi se o više „prirodnom“ korektoru, koji ima blago do srednje prekrivanje, koje se može intenzivirati, ali ne više od srednje prekrivne moći. Što se tiče teksture korektora radi se o laganoj teksturi, ali ukoliko nanesete puno proizvoda onda ovaj korektor može biti prilično težak ispod očiju. Prema mom mišljenju ovaj korektor nije dobar za prekrivanje akni ili nekih drugih nečistoća na licu. Ja preferiram kremaste korektore za to, jer se bolje ponašaju i traju puno duže tokom dana. Ovo je dobar korektor za područje ispod očiju jer izgleda vrlo lijepo na tom području i lijepo posvijetli taj dio. Ako nanesete puno proizvoda, onda se korektor može uvući u tanke linijice i bore, jer se radi o kremastoj teksturi. Pošto tekstura korektora nije skroz tečna niti gusta, korektor se mora setovati što je prije moguće, jer ako ne uradite to korektor će se uvući u svaku linijicu ili boru koju imate na tom području. Po mom mišljenju ovo je idealan korektor za djevojke koje vole prirodniji makeup, koje vole da koriste kremaste proizvode i ne zahtjevaju veliku moć prekrivanja. Catrice Instant awake korektor nije loš proizvod, radi dobro, ali ja preferiram regularne korektore koji imaju normalni mali aplikator sa kojim lijepo možete nanijeti proizvod. Sa ovom spužvicom nanošenje i nije baš najlakše. Možete probati ovaj korektor ukoliko Vas zanima kako izgleda, ne radi se o lošem proizvodu, samo imajte na umu svoju makeup preferencu.

Would I recommend this concealer? I think it’s good, but I probably won’t repurchase it. I just feel like Catrice Liquid camouflage concealer (review) is so much better and you get more product, which means it will last longer. This one does feel hydrating, but I don’t have problem with Catrice liquid camouflage drying my under eyes. If you like this style of concealer then definitely give it a go, it’s not a bad product. Da li bih Vam preporučila ovaj korektor? Mislim da je ovo dobar korektor, ali ja ga vjerovatno neću ponovo kupiti. Mislim da je Catrice Liquid camouflage korektor (recenzija) puno bolji, dobijete više proizvoda i traje duže nego ovaj. Ovaj novi Catrice korektor jeste hidratantan, ali ja nisam imala problema ni sa Catrice Liquid camouflage korektorom što se tiče hidratacije. Ako volite korektore sa spužvicom, onda probajte ovaj, radi se o dobrom korektoru. To je sve od mene za danas. Nadam se da Vam se svidjela ova recenzija.
